Long Quotations
Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth. Buddha I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it. Marilyn Monroe Fame will go by and, so long, I've had you, fame. If it goes by, I've always known it was fickle. So at least it's something I experience, but that's not where I live. Marilyn Monroe We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing. Mother Teresa I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself. Maya Angelou Books constitute capital. A library book lasts as long as a house, for hundreds of years. It is not, then, an article of mere consumption but fairly of capital, and often in the case of professional men, setting out in life, it is their only capital. Thomas Jefferson My only fear is that I may live too long. This would be a subject of dread to me. Thomas Jefferson It is very important to generate a good attitude, a good heart, as much as possible. From this, happiness in both the short term and the long term for both yourself and others will come. Dalai Lama Want to learn to eat a lot? Here it is: Eat a little. That way, you will be around long enough to eat a lot. Tony Robbins Every one desires to live long, but no one would be old. Abraham Lincoln |
